Praying from Psalms 20:7. Themes: Trust, Faith, God’s sovereignty.
Dear Yahweh our God,
We come before you today, acknowledging that some may trust in chariots and horses, but we choose to trust in your name. We believe that you are our protector, our provider, and our guide.
We claim the promise that you will never leave us nor forsake us, and that you will always be with us, even in the midst of trials and challenges. We trust in your unfailing love and your faithfulness to your promises.
We ask that you would continue to strengthen our faith and help us to rely on you more and more each day. May we always remember that you are our source of strength and our refuge in times of trouble.
Thank you for your goodness and your mercy towards us. We give you all the praise and honor, now and forevermore.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.
Verse: Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God.
Psalms 20:7
This is a Promise. The verse is assuring the reader that trusting in Yahweh is more reliable than trusting in physical possessions such as chariots and horses.
