Praying from Psalms 18:35. Themes: Salvation, Sustenance, Gentleness

Dear Lord, I thank you for the shield of your salvation that you have given me. I know that with this shield, I am protected from all the attacks of the enemy. I also thank you for your right hand that sustains me every day. I know that without your support, I would not be able to stand firm in the midst of trials and challenges.

Lord, I claim the promise that your gentleness has made me great. I pray that you continue to guide me with your gentle hand and lead me on the path of righteousness. Help me to always remember that I am nothing without you, and that all my strength and success come from you alone.

Thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love and faithfulness. I trust in your promises and know that you will never leave me nor forsake me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.
Psalms 18:35

This is a Promise. The verse is expressing gratitude for God’s protection and support, specifically through the “shield of your salvation” and the sustaining power of God’s right hand. The gentleness of God is also credited with making the speaker “great.”
