Dear God, please guide my heart away from any evil thing and keep me from practicing wicked deeds with those who work iniquity. Help me to resist the temptation of indulging in their delicacies. Keep me on the path of righteousness and protect me from the influence of those who seek to lead me astray. Amen.

Verse: Don’t incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity. Don’t let me eat of their delicacies.
Psalms 141:4

This is a Command. The verse is a plea to God to not allow the reader’s heart to be tempted towards evil or to participate in wicked deeds with those who do wrong. The reader is asking God to protect them from the allure of sinful pleasures.
