Prayer based on Psalms 13:1. Themes: Suffering, Trust, Hope.
Dear Yahweh,
I come before you today with a heavy heart, feeling forgotten and alone. I cry out to you, “How long, Yahweh? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?”
But I know that you are a faithful God, and your promises are true. You have promised to never leave me nor forsake me, and to always be with me, even in the darkest of times.
So today, I claim that promise and trust in your unfailing love. I know that you see me and hear my cries, and that you are working all things together for my good.
Thank you for your faithfulness, Yahweh. I trust in you and your promises, and I know that you will never let me go.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
