Dear Lord, I am grateful for the opportunity to come to your house and worship you. I am glad when I hear the invitation to come and be in your presence. May my heart be filled with joy and gratitude as I enter your sanctuary. Help me to focus on you and to be open to your word and your presence. May this time of worship be a time of renewal and refreshment for my soul. Thank you for the privilege of coming to your house and being with your people. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: I was glad when they said to me,“Let’s go to Yahweh’s house!”
Psalms 122:1

This is a Command. The verse is encouraging the reader to go to Yahweh’s house with gladness.
