Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude for your word. Your statutes are my delight, and I find joy in meditating on them day and night. I thank you for the promise that your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. I claim this promise today and ask that you guide me through your word. May your word be my counselor, and may it lead me in the way of righteousness. Thank you for the gift of your word, and I pray that I may continue to find delight in it all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
