Dear Lord, even if those in positions of power speak ill of me, I pray that I may remain steadfast in my devotion to you. Help me to focus on your word and to meditate on your statutes, even in the face of adversity. May my heart be filled with your love and my mind be renewed by your truth. Grant me the strength to persevere and to trust in your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Though princes sit and slander me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.
