Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the promise that you have given to your Son, Jesus Christ, to have life in himself. I claim this promise for myself and ask that you would give me the same life that you have given to your Son. May I be filled with your life-giving power and be able to live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your love and grace that you have shown to me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.
John 5:26
