Dear Lord, I believe in your promises and your faithfulness. I declare with confidence that I am not alone in my afflictions, for you are with me always. I claim the promise that you will never leave me nor forsake me, and that you will be my refuge and strength in times of trouble. I thank you for your love and mercy, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalms 116:10
This is a Promise. The verse is a statement of the Psalmist’s belief and the affliction he experienced as a result. There is no command given to the reader.
