Father God, I claim the promise that You will never abandon Your people. Though at times we may be given into the hand of the nations and ruled over by those who hate us, I trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. I pray that You would strengthen us in the midst of trials and persecution, and that You would raise up leaders who will govern with justice and righteousness. Thank You for Your promise to never leave us or forsake us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: He gave them into the hand of the nations. Those who hated them ruled over them.
Psalms 106:41

This is a Promise. The verse is describing a past event where God allowed the Israelites to be ruled by their enemies, but it is not giving a command or instruction to the reader.
