Dear God, please help me to remember to not withhold correction from the children in my life. Give me the wisdom to discipline them in a way that is firm but loving. Help me to understand that using the rod is not meant to harm them, but to teach them important lessons. Please guide me in being a positive influence in their lives and help me to raise them up in a way that honors you. Amen.

Verse: Don’t withhold correction from a child. If you punish him with the rod, he will not die.
Proverbs 23:13
