Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that a man’s spirit will sustain him in sickness. I pray that you would strengthen my spirit and give me the courage and perseverance to endure any sickness or trial that may come my way. Help me to trust in your goodness and love, even in the midst of pain and suffering. And I pray that you would protect me from a crushed spirit, for I know that with you by my side, I can bear anything. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of your sustaining power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
