Praying from Matthew 7:26 relating to Obedience, Consequences, Foundation.
Dear Lord, please help me to not only hear your words but also to put them into action. I pray that I may not be like the foolish man who built his house on the sand, but rather like the wise man who built his house on the rock. Give me the strength and wisdom to follow your teachings and to live a life that is pleasing to you. May my foundation be built on your truth and may I always seek your guidance in all that I do. Amen.
Verse: Everyone who hears these words of mine and doesn’t do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not only hear the words of Jesus but also to do them, or else they will be like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
