Dear God, please help me to always speak with wisdom and truth. May I never be a fool who speaks without thinking or lies to others. Help me to be a person of integrity and honor, worthy of being called a prince or princess in your kingdom. Thank you for your guidance and grace in my life. Amen.

Verse: Excellent speech isn’t fitting for a fool, much less do lying lips fit a prince.
Proverbs 17:7

This is a Command. The verse is telling the reader that it is not appropriate for a fool to speak excellently, and that lying lips do not befit a prince. Therefore, the command is to avoid speaking foolishly and lying.
