Dear Lord, please guide us to be wise and obedient children who bring joy and pride to our parents. Help us to avoid foolishness and actions that cause grief and bitterness to those who love us. May we always honor and respect our parents, and may our actions reflect the love and grace that you have shown us. Amen.
