Prayer based on Proverbs 16:6. Themes: Mercy, Truth, Atonement

Dear Yahweh,

I come before you with a humble heart, acknowledging that it is only by your mercy and truth that my iniquities can be atoned for. I submit myself to your will and ask for your forgiveness for all the wrongs I have done.

I claim the promise that by the fear of you, I can depart from evil. Help me to always have a healthy fear of you, to honor and respect you in all that I do. Guide me in the path of righteousness and keep me from straying away from your ways.

Thank you for your love and grace that covers all my sins. May I always walk in your truth and be a reflection of your mercy to those around me.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Proverbs 16:6

This is a Both.

The command is to depart from evil through the fear of Yahweh. The promise is that iniquity will be atoned for through mercy and truth.
