Dear Lord, please help me to control my anger and not to act foolishly. May I be patient and slow to anger, and may I seek wisdom and understanding instead of reacting impulsively. Help me to be honest and straightforward in my dealings with others, and not to resort to craftiness or deceit. May I be a person of integrity and earn the respect and love of those around me. Amen.

Verse: He who is quick to become angry will commit folly, and a crafty man is hated.
Proverbs 14:17
