Praying from Matthew 5:22 relating to Judgment, Anger, Brotherly Love.

Dear Lord, please help me to control my anger towards my brothers and sisters. May I never speak harshly or insult them without cause. I pray that you will guide me to always speak with kindness and love, even in moments of frustration. Please protect me from the judgment and consequences that come with anger and hurtful words. Help me to be a peacemaker and to show grace and forgiveness to those who may offend me. Thank you for your love and mercy. Amen.

Verse: But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘ You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.
Matthew 5:22

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not be angry with their brother without a cause and to not insult them with words such as “Raca” or “You fool.” It warns that those who do so will be in danger of judgment, council, and the fire of Gehenna.
