Prayer based on Proverbs 13:23. Themes: Injustice, Abundance, Poor
Dear God,
We come before you today with heavy hearts, knowing that there is an abundance of food in the fields of the poor, but injustice sweeps it away. We pray for your mercy and compassion to be poured out upon those who are suffering from hunger and poverty.
We ask that you would open the eyes of those who have the power to make a difference, that they may see the injustice that is happening and take action to bring about change. We pray that you would provide for the needs of those who are struggling to put food on the table, and that you would give them hope for a better future.
Lord, we know that you are a God of justice and righteousness, and we trust in your goodness and faithfulness. We ask that you would guide us in how we can be a part of the solution, and that you would use us to bring about your kingdom here on earth.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.
