Dear God, please grant me the gift of good understanding so that I may win favor in your eyes and in the eyes of those around me. Help me to always choose the path of faithfulness and righteousness, even when it may be difficult. Guide me on the right path and give me the strength to overcome any obstacles that may come my way. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.

Verse: Good understanding wins favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard.
Proverbs 13:15

This is a Command. The verse instructs the reader to seek good understanding in order to win favor, and warns against the difficult path of unfaithfulness.
