Praying from Philemon 1:14 relating to Consent, Free Will, Goodness.

Dear Lord, I pray that I may always be willing to do nothing without your consent. May my actions and decisions always be guided by your will and not my own desires. Help me to trust in your goodness and grace, so that my obedience to you may be of free will and not out of necessity. Thank you for your unfailing love and mercy. Amen.

Verse: But I was willing to do nothing without your consent, that your goodness would not be as of necessity, but of free will.
Philemon 1:14

This is a Command. The verse is a request from Paul to Philemon to willingly forgive and receive back his runaway slave, Onesimus, without feeling obligated to do so.
