Praying from Matthew 8:26 relating to Faith, Fear, Power

Dear Lord, when the storms of life rage around us, we often become fearful and lose faith in your power. Please forgive us for our lack of trust and help us to remember that you are always with us. Just as you rebuked the wind and the sea, we ask that you calm the storms in our lives and bring us peace. Strengthen our faith so that we may always trust in your love and protection. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: He said to them,“Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
Matthew 8:26

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to have faith and not be fearful.
