Dear Lord, just as you awoke and rebuked the wind and calmed the sea, I pray that you calm the storms in my life. Speak peace into my heart and still the chaos around me. Help me to trust in your power and know that you are in control. Thank you for your constant presence and for always being my refuge in times of trouble. Amen.

Verse: He awoke and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea,“Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was a great calm.
