Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you rule the pride of the sea. I know that when its waves rise up, you have the power to calm them. I pray that you would extend that same power and authority over the storms in my life. When I feel overwhelmed and tossed about by the waves of uncertainty and fear, I ask that you would calm my heart and bring me peace. Help me to trust in your sovereignty and to know that you are always with me, even in the midst of the storm. Thank you for your promise to calm the waves, and for your constant presence in my life. Amen.
