Praying from Matthew 7:4 relating to Judgment, Hypocrisy, Self-Reflection.
Dear Lord, help me to always approach my brothers and sisters with humility and love. May I never be quick to judge or criticize, but instead, may I seek to remove the beam from my own eye before attempting to remove the speck from theirs. Give me the wisdom to see my own faults and shortcomings, and the courage to address them with honesty and humility. Help me to be a source of encouragement and support to those around me, always seeking to build them up and help them grow in their faith. Amen.
Verse: Or how will you tell your brother, ‘ Let me remove the speck from your eye,’ and behold, the beam is in your own eye?
Matthew 7:4
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to first remove the beam from their own eye before attempting to remove the speck from their brother’s eye.
