Praying from Matthew 6:25 relating to Providence, Materialism, Trust
Dear God, I pray that I may trust in your provision and not be anxious about my life. Help me to remember that life is more than just food and clothing. May I focus on the things that truly matter and seek your kingdom above all else. Thank you for your constant care and love. Amen.
Verse: Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Matthew 6:25
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader not to be anxious about their life, including what they will eat, drink, or wear, and reminds them that life is more than just these things.
