Praying from Matthew 5:39 relating to Nonviolence, Forgiveness.

Dear God, help me to follow your teachings and not resist those who do evil. When someone strikes me on my right cheek, give me the strength to turn the other cheek and respond with love and forgiveness. Help me to be a reflection of your grace and mercy in all situations. Amen.

Verse: But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Matthew 5:39

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader not to resist evil and to turn the other cheek when struck on the right cheek.
