Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have prepared me for the purpose you have for my life. Just as the woman poured ointment on your body to prepare you for burial, I pray that you will anoint me with your Holy Spirit to prepare me for the work you have called me to do. May I be a vessel of your love and grace, shining your light in the darkness and bringing hope to those who are lost. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise that you will never leave me nor forsake me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
