Dear Lord, help me to always be ready for your coming. May I never be caught off guard or unprepared for your return. Give me the strength and wisdom to live each day in a way that honors you and brings glory to your name. Help me to be vigilant and watchful, always looking for signs of your coming. May I be found faithful when you return, and may I hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.
