Dear Lord, as I see the signs of your coming becoming more evident each day, I pray that you would give me the discernment to recognize that your return is near. Help me to be watchful and ready for your coming, and to live each day with the knowledge that you could return at any moment. May I be found faithful and obedient when you come, and may I be a witness to others of your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.

This is a Command. The reader is instructed to recognize that the events described in the preceding verses are a sign that the end is near.
