Praying from 2 Corinthians 5:16. Themes: Identity, Transformation, Knowledge
Dear Lord, help us to see others not according to their outward appearance or worldly status, but through the lens of your love and grace. May we no longer judge or categorize people based on their fleshly attributes, but instead see them as your beloved children. And just as we have come to know Christ in the flesh, may we now know him in a deeper, more spiritual way. Help us to grow in our relationship with him and to see him in all aspects of our lives. Amen.
Verse: Therefore we know no one according to the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
2 Corinthians 5:16
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to no longer know anyone according to the flesh, including Christ. The focus should be on knowing Christ in a spiritual sense rather than a physical one.
