Prayer based on Matthew 23:22. Themes: Oaths, Heaven, God’s Throne.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today, claiming the promise that he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by you who sits on it. I declare that I put my trust in you alone, and I swear by heaven that I will follow your ways and obey your commands.
I thank you for your faithfulness and your steadfast love towards me. I pray that you will continue to guide me and lead me in the path of righteousness. May your throne be established in my heart, and may I always seek to honor and glorify you in all that I do.
I declare that I am yours, and I swear by heaven that I will serve you with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Thank you for the promise that when I swear by heaven, I am swearing by your throne and by you who sits on it.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: He who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by him who sits on it.
