Dear Lord, I come before you in humble submission, acknowledging that when I swear by the altar, I am also swearing by everything on it. I claim the promise that comes with this declaration, knowing that you are faithful to fulfill your word. Help me to always honor and respect the altar, and to remember the weight of my words when I make a vow. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the assurance that you will always keep your promises. Amen.
