Prayer based on Matthew 21:2. Themes: Obedience, Provision, Humility.

Dear Lord, as we go about our daily lives, we pray that you guide us to the places where we can serve you best. Just as you directed your disciples to the village where they would find a donkey and a colt, we ask that you lead us to the opportunities where we can make a difference in your name. Help us to recognize the tasks you have set before us and to carry them out with joy and obedience. We trust in your guidance and provision, and we pray that you use us to further your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: saying to them,“Go into the village that is opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.
Matthew 21:2

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to go into the village, find the donkey and colt, untie them, and bring them to Jesus.
