Praying from Matthew 16:8. Themes: Faith, Provision, Perception.
Dear Lord Jesus,
As I journey through life, I often find myself worrying and reasoning among myself, just like your disciples did when they forgot to bring bread. I confess that my faith is sometimes weak, and I forget that you are always with me, providing for my every need.
Help me to trust in you more fully, to have faith that you will always provide for me, even when I cannot see how. Teach me to rely on your wisdom and guidance, and to seek your will in all things.
Thank you for your constant love and care, and for the many blessings you have bestowed upon me. May I always remember that you are the bread of life, and that in you, I will never hunger or thirst.
In your holy name, I pray,
Amen.
Verse: Jesus, perceiving it, said,“Why do you reason among yourselves, you of little faith, because you have brought no bread?
Matthew 16:8
This is a Command. The command is for the disciples to have more faith and not worry about bread.
