Dear Lord, help me to always set my mind on the things of God and not on the things of this world. May I never be a stumbling block to others, but instead be a source of encouragement and inspiration. Please guide me in all my thoughts and actions, and help me to follow your will for my life. Amen.

Verse: But he turned and said to Peter,“Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of men.”
Matthew 16:23

This is a Command. The verse commands Peter to “get behind” Jesus and stop being a stumbling block by focusing on worldly things instead of God’s will.
