Dear God, help me to recognize the value of the things that truly matter in life. Just as the man in the parable sold all he had to obtain the pearl of great price, may I be willing to let go of anything that hinders me from fully embracing your love and purpose for my life. Give me the courage and faith to pursue the things that truly matter and to trust that you will provide for all my needs. Amen.
