Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have given us in Matthew 13:17. I claim this promise today and ask that you open my eyes and ears to see and hear the things that many prophets and righteous men desired to see and hear but didn’t. Help me to understand your word and your will for my life. May I never take for granted the privilege of having access to your truth and may I always seek to grow in my knowledge and understanding of you. Thank you for your grace and mercy. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.
Matthew 13:17
This is a Promise. The verse is promising that the reader is experiencing and hearing things that many prophets and righteous men before them desired to experience and hear, but were not able to.
