Dear God, please help me to understand the parable of the farmer. Open my heart and mind to receive the message you have for me through this story. May I be like the good soil that receives your word and bears fruit, and not like the rocky or thorny ground that hinders its growth. Guide me to cultivate a heart that is receptive to your teachings and obedient to your will. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
