Dear Lord, just as Peter declared that he would not deny you even if it meant dying with you, I too claim that promise. I pray that you give me the strength and courage to stand firm in my faith, even in the face of persecution or hardship. Help me to always remain faithful to you and to never deny you. May my words and actions always reflect your love and truth. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: But he spoke all the more, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement of Peter’s commitment to not deny Jesus, even if it means dying with him.
