Prayer based on Mark 14:21. Themes: Betrayal, Consequence, Redemption.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the promise that the Son of Man goes as it is written about him. I trust in your sovereignty and your plan for my life. I pray that I may never be the one to betray the Son of Man, and I ask for your protection from such temptation. I claim the promise that woe will come to the one who betrays the Son of Man, and I pray that I may always remain faithful to you. Thank you for the reminder that it would be better for that man if he had not been born. I pray that I may always choose to follow you and live a life that honors you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
