Prayer based on Mark 12:36. Themes: Authority, Exaltation, Victory.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you made to David in the Holy Spirit. You said to him, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.” I claim this promise for myself today, knowing that you are faithful to fulfill your word. I pray that you would help me to trust in you completely, knowing that you are in control of every situation. I ask that you would make my enemies my footstool, and that you would give me victory over every obstacle that comes my way. Thank you for your love and your faithfulness, and for the promise of your protection and provision. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: For David himself said in the Holy Spirit,β The Lord said to my Lord,βSit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.ββ
