Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in your word, that from the time of your ascension, you are waiting until your enemies are made the footstool of your feet. I pray that you would bring about this promise in my life and in the world around me. May your enemies be defeated and may your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. I trust in your power and your faithfulness to fulfill this promise, and I thank you for the victory that is already won through your death and resurrection. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
