Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for reminding us that the greatest commandment is to hear and acknowledge that you are the one and only true God. Help us to always keep this truth in our hearts and minds, and to live our lives in a way that honors and glorifies you. May we never forget that you are the source of all love, grace, and mercy, and that we are called to love and serve you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We pray this in your holy name, Amen.

Verse: Jesus answered,“The greatest is: ‘ Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

This is a Command. The command is to hear and acknowledge that the Lord our God is one.
