Dear Lord, like the man from whom the demons had gone out, I too beg to go with you. I long to be by your side, to learn from you and to follow you wherever you go. But I trust in your wisdom and guidance, and I know that you have a plan for my life. Help me to have faith in your plan, even when it may not be what I desire. Thank you for your love and grace, and for always being with me. Amen.

This is a Command. Jesus commands the man to go away instead of allowing him to follow him.
