Dear Lord, I pray that you would not command me to go into the abyss. Please guide me towards your light and protect me from the darkness. Help me to trust in your plan for my life and to have faith in your love and mercy. Amen.

This is a Command. The verse is a plea from demons to Jesus not to send them into the abyss. There is no promise made in this verse.
