Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that those who hear your word will be saved. I pray that you would protect my heart from the schemes of the devil, who seeks to steal away your truth and keep me from believing. Help me to hold fast to your word and to trust in your salvation. May my faith be strong and unwavering, and may I always be counted among those who believe and are saved. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Those along the road are those who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, that they may not believe and be saved.
Luke 8:12

This is a Promise. The verse promises that those who hear the word and believe will be saved, but warns that the devil may try to take away the word from their heart.
