Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you are like a man building a house, who dug and went deep and laid a foundation on the rock. I pray that you will help me to dig deep and build my foundation on you, the solid rock. When the floods of life come, I pray that I will not be shaken, but will stand firm because I am founded on you. Help me to trust in you and your promises, and to always seek your guidance and wisdom. Thank you for being my rock and my foundation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: He is like a man building a house, who dug and went deep and laid a foundation on the rock. When a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it was founded on the rock.

This is a Promise. The verse promises that if one builds their foundation on the rock, their house will not be shaken by floods.
