Prayer based on Luke 4:9. Themes: Temptation, Faith, Trust
Dear Lord, as I read about how Satan led Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple and tempted Him to cast Himself down, I am reminded of the many times that I too have been tempted to take shortcuts or to test Your faithfulness. Please forgive me for those times when I have doubted Your love and provision for me. Help me to trust in You completely, knowing that You are always with me and that You will never leave me nor forsake me. Give me the strength to resist temptation and to follow Your will for my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Luke 4:9
This is a Command. The command is for the reader to cast themselves down from the pinnacle of the temple if they are the Son of God. However, it should be noted that this command is not a genuine command from God, but rather a temptation from Satan to Jesus.
