Dear Lord Jesus, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I claim the promise that you made to the thief on the cross, that today he would be with you in Paradise. I believe that you are the Son of God, and that you have the power to save me from my sins and grant me eternal life. I ask that you forgive me of my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I surrender my life to you and ask that you guide me on the path of righteousness. Thank you for your love, your grace, and your mercy. I trust in your promise that I will be with you in Paradise. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Jesus said to him,“Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

This is a Promise. Jesus promises the person he is speaking to that they will be with him in Paradise that day.
